Our RPing Environments

SFHQ currently has twelve RPing environments, or as we refer to them ships. We hope to grow this number as the club continues to increase the number of its' members. Below is a recreation of one of the actual ships, the USS Independence. Any member of SFHQ can be on as many ships as they want, choosing to serve in either command, medical, security, science, or any other makeshift position they are interested in playing. Kiros is independent, but are facing civil war because the warrior class wants to continue to support the Klingon Empire and later ally with them. The scientist class oppose this and believe the Klingon Empire has been weakened by the explosion on Praxis. Romulan Star Empire is believed to have influenced the situation to grow tighter. Starfleet has decided to investigate and try to negotiate a peace. Federation doesn't want a war in the quadrant involving Klingons and Romulans.

USS Independence

Message of the Day

The Vulcan installation has been destroyed by an unknown energy weapon on the moon's surface, and two rescue missions to bring Admiral Price and company to safety have faced critical danger. Meanwhile, an energy weapon of unknown origin on the moon below threatens both the Independence and the Klingon vessel, while on the moon below the away team struggle for their lives amidst a strange alien presence bent on seeking revenge from an unknown and terrifying threat, which is not what it seems. Onboard the Independence, Lt. Bryce leads the search for three saboteurs who are wrecking havoc on critical ship systems. How will the brave and stalwart crew of the Indy survive?

The Rosters

Each RPing Environment contains a roster which lists all the players that are currently on that ship. In addition it gives information about what the characters name is, their rank and position, as well as biographical information. When you become a member, you will see additional information such as the players name, email, and when they last entered the site.

Posting and Reading Notes

Through the centralized posting system you will be able to make posts as your choosen character. For the purposes of this demo, the Make New Post button is disabled. However, the demo will allow you to read actual notes from an live RP environment. Click Read New Notes to see how the system works. When you are a member of a ship you are able to not only read the notes that other players made, but reply to them as you read them. This eliminates working through threads on traditional BB RPG sites, or sort through emails from email based RPGs. Read through and see what you think!
